Angi puts the average whole-house interior painting job at about $2,022, with a range of $350 to $5,800, or roughly $2 to $6 per square foot. By home size:

That average and the home-size ranges don't line up neatly, and that's normal. The average includes lots of partial jobs. If you're doing every room, walls, ceilings and trim, the home-size ranges are the better guide.
What pushes a Connecticut quote up

- Wallpaper. Removing it is its own job.
